Poppy & Lark Preschool strives to be a gentle, nurturing, and safe learning experience for children ages 33 months to 5 years. I believe that the preschool years are a sweet spot in childhood in which children should be supported in fostering a love of learning. Connection and trust must come before instruction so building relationships with children and families is a top priority. Our daily routine ensures a feeling of security for all children who attend. Students spend their preschool days engaging in learning games and activities, circle time, read aloud, music, dance, art, free play, and outdoor play. Poppy & Lark Preschool offers mixed aged learning groups in a family style care setting. Continuity of care is a valuable advantage in early childhood settings and Poppy & Lark Preschool offers this opportunity as children can attend through a variety of different ages and stages. Poppy & Lark Preschool is committed to creating a loving, encouraging space for your child/ren to learn, explore, and be themselves! During preschool, we are tucked away in the safety of our dedicated learning spaces within my home and have a large, natural, open outdoor play space, as well.
